1. What is the Pennyfeathers Protocol Facial?

The Pennyfeathers Protocol Facial is a fully bespoke facial designed around your individual skin needs. Each treatment begins with a professional consultation and skin analysis, allowing products and techniques to be tailored to concerns such as ageing, sensitivity, congestion or dehydration. On booking you will be sent your consultation forms to complete prior to visiting me. This gives me a little background on you and after a great chat before our treatment we can build a personalised treatment plan not only for in Salon but for at home.


2. What skin concerns can microneedling help with?

Microneedling can improve fine lines, acne scarring, uneven skin texture, enlarged pores and overall skin tone. It works by stimulating collagen and elastin production, supporting natural skin renewal and long-term skin health.


3. Does microneedling hurt?

Most clients describe microneedling as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. Treatment depth is adjusted to suit your skin and tolerance, and aftercare guidance is provided to support comfort, healing, and results.


4. How many microneedling sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on your skin concerns and goals. Some clients notice improvement after one session, while others benefit from a short course of treatments. This is discussed during your consultation.


5. What is electrolysis hair removal?

Electrolysis is a permanent hair removal method that treats individual hair follicles using a controlled electrical current. It is suitable for all hair colours and skin types and is commonly used for facial and small body areas. You can use Red LED for 10 minutes after this treatment to reduce skin inflammation and aid healing if needed.


6. What is cryo surgery and what does it treat?

Cryo surgery uses precision freezing technology, such as FreezePen, to treat skin tags, age spots, and certain benign skin lesions. Treatments are quick and performed following a professional assessment.


7. How should I prepare for my first skin treatment?

Preparation depends on the treatment, but generally includes avoiding active skincare ingredients before advanced treatments and arriving with clean skin. Specific guidance is provided during your consultation.


8. How long does it take to see results from advanced facials?

Some clients notice an immediate improvement in skin hydration and glow, while other results develop gradually as the skin responds to treatment. Long-term improvement often comes from a personalised treatment plan.


9. Are consultations included with treatments?

Yes. Every treatment includes a professional consultation to assess your skin, discuss concerns, and ensure the chosen treatment is appropriate for your goals and skin condition.


10. Do you sell gift vouchers?

No, I do not offer a gift voucher service. If you are looking to treat a client of mine who has existing Appointments booked, you can credit their account account via a bank transfer. However, a gift voucher is not available to purchase or give.


11. How do I book an appointment with you?

You can book your appointment with me via Fresha. There is a link at the top and bottom of each treatment page on this website.

I do offer a consultation for treatments like my Pennyfeathers protocol, Ivan med microneedling, freeze pen Cyro surgery and electrolysis. This is a chargeable service but the fee paid is redeemable against your first visit with me.

Coming in for a pre-booked consultation gives us more time to get to know each other, build a treatment plan and work out our expectations and realistic results.


12. How long do I leave between Injectables, Asethetic and Cyro Surgery treatments to avoid being contra indicated to your Expert Facials?

I recommend a minimum of 2 weeks healing time between the above treatments and my expert skin sessions, this allows full healing and downtime between advanced skin treatments.


13. Do you have Parking ?

Yes there is parking available on site. It is not guaranteed and not exclusive to Pennyfeathers. We have two multistorey car park floors and these are open to anybody using the Lido medical Centre, Hotel and Gym. These two sites can get busy especially early morning and around the lunch hour they are free of charge to use. However, if you find these areas are full, you can continue up towards the hotel’s main door and you will see a pay per hour car park in front of you. Please feel free to use this and pay on exit.


14. How can I purchase your skincare products and LED rentals when you are unavailable?

I have the Pennyfeathers skin store available via the Shop icon on my website. This is an online shop where you can buy all of my skincare offerings, rent my LEDs and purchase my skin supplements. You can then choose to either collect from my Salon where the items will be picked packed and left for you outside my door or alternatively I can send them out to you for a nominal charge via Jersey post. Items are normally dispatched on a Friday. However, if you choose collection, they are normally ready within 24 to 48 hours. Items are normally dispatched on a Friday.
